I think it is SO awesome that the presidential candidates have myspace pages. I have seen tons of people adding their favorite candidate as their friend on myspace. It is a cool way to show your support and political beliefs.
They are reaching a whole new generation by being a part of myspace. When I first saw a political figure on myspace (I think it was Senator McCain) I sort of laughed and thought it was useless for him to try and gain respect/followers through myspace. Boy was I wrong. Not all myspace users venture out into the www very far. They might not even know about (or care to look at) sites such as cnn.com or msnbc.com. The candidates couldn't wait for the myspace generation to come to them, so they went stratight to myspace.
